Insights From My First Two Weeks in England

I've been in Leeds for thirteen days now, and all I can say is wow -- INFORMATION OVERLOAD!

I thought I had a decent idea of all the things I'd have to adjust to when I arrived, but I've been amazed at how many small differences have taken me aback (like, in what context do I use "cheers?" thanks? excuse me? goodbye? You tell me, I've heard it used as all three).

How I Went from Small Town Living to Studying Abroad

My hometown definitely isn't the biggest place you'll ever visit.

I spent most of my childhood in one of three places -- the swing set in my backyard, the church, or the school (on top of normal hours because I'm a teacher's kid). Our summer trips to Myrtle Beach or Dollywood in Tennessee were my definition of traveling.

My Top 5 Goals for Study Abroad

"What are you going to be doing while you're abroad?"
